Support Flecks with Bereavement and Medical Costs

Early Monday morning, McKenzie went into labor on little Miss Emberly’s due date - 10/31/2022. McKenzie and Jared rushed to the hospital ready to welcome their baby girl. Unfortunately, it was declared shortly after arrival at Wilson Memorial that Emberly had passed. McKenzie spent the better part of the day in labor with family gathered around her and Jared - everyone mourning a baby that had yet to be delivered. At 6:14PM, Emberly Jade Fleck was born sleeping; weighing 6lbs 11oz and 20.5in long. A perfect baby with a full head of hair and pretty blue eyes. Upon delivery, it was evident that although Emberly was perfect as can be, her umbilical cord was tight around her neck - the very cord that once gave her life. They spent the next 27 hours with Emberly - holding their precious baby, painting her nails, capturing priceless pictures. It’s needless to say that this was all unexpected. McKenzie and Jared did everything right in preparing for their baby girl’s arrival, but that did not initially include planning a funeral. When planning a funeral, it’s no secret that it affects the family emotionally and financially. McKenzie will have some paid time off work; unfortunately, Jared will not have any. The goal is to allow them some more time to grieve together. Bills do not stop coming in, especially in a time like this. Whereas we cannot cure Jared and McKenzie’s broken hearts, we can lessen the financial burden by even a small donation. Their journey of healing is just getting started so please continue to lift them up in thoughts and prayers. We appreciate any support in advance.
