Support Kerry Davis' Road to Recovery

As most of you know, on 6/13/24, Kerry Davis (Cricket) had a severe motorcycle accident. He suffered 2 broken arms, a fractured back, and broken ribs. While running scans, they noticed he had a 70 percent blockage in his artery, so they had to postpone his arm surgery to insert stents. Finally, on 6/21, they were able to take him to surgery for his arms. He was moved out of trauma into a room where he currently is still awaiting discharge to a skilled nursing home. He can touch his nose, wiggle his toes, but still isn’t able to do anything for himself. He is currently in a neck, back, and leg brace.

Myself, his son, his sister, brother, & friends have all been doing our best at rotating being with him and handling things that need to be done at home. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have short or long-term disability. I went to the social security office today to start the process for his social security disability and the best they could do was make a phone appointment for a month out and told me that it could take up to a year to even be approved. He has a long road ahead (12 to 18 months) is what we are looking at for the healing process.

We appreciate all the calls, texts, prayers, and visits! This isn’t something he would want to do as he is always the one willing to lend a hand to help others and never receive it, but we want to make sure all his bills rolling in are taken care of and he has money to live on as he recovers.
