Kerry Nolan and Baby Zeke in Marshall, NC
Donation protected
My name is Cherie Pereyra. I live in Marshall, NC and worked in downtown Marshall. Kerry is my dear friend. I am starting this page for Kerry and her little family. She is one of the most genuine and kind people I know. Her and her sweet baby Zeke were permanent fixtures in downtown Marshall, NC before the hurricane. They attended all the town events and supported all the local businesses.
She is struggling right now after the hurricane destroyed our town and her job, her only source of income. She is volunteering her time to assist with the cleanup and rebuilding of Marshall.
If you have means to help her get through this difficult time, please help Kerry and baby Zeke through this.
The funds raised will go towards her bills, her groceries, diapers, all of her family’s needs while her and the town recover from the devastating hurricane.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
“My name is Kerry Nolan, I live in Marshall, NC. I am a single mom to 3 kids, Kaylee 19, Asher 13, and Zeke 17 months. Zeke and I are still here in Marshall, NC after the town was flooded under 25 ft of river water due to hurricane Helene. Our entire downtown area was completely destroyed. Kaylee and Asher are safe in South Carolina with their father. Funds, gas, and road closures have kept me apart from my older 2 kids through this disaster.
It breaks my heart to see everyone I know have their livelihoods and homes and community just wrecked in a day. As I watched the river rise from up on the hill alongside my equally stunned friends, I just cried and kept thinking how it is all gone. This is the thought that keeps coming up every time I try make a plan or make my to-do list. It's all gone, so all we can do is clean, rebuild and hope.
My job was in downtown Marshall, at the Main Street Cafe. I have lost my income suddenly.
Marshall has been so good to me and my son Zeke. He is known as the Baby Mayor of Marshall. I am a single mom doing my best through this disaster. I was fortunate enough to not have any damage to my home, save for a few small landslides along our steep road that need to be fixed before they get worse.
My biggest struggle is no income right now. I need to pay bills, groceries, diapers, etc.
Any help or support you can share during this difficult time is so appreciated. I will use the funds to pay bills, buy groceries and supplies.
Thank you and God bless.
