- Meet Dakota! Dakota is a sweet 4 month old puppy with a goofy and sweet personality. Recently his mom Kiana noticed some problems with his paw. Several vet visits and a small surgery later, it was discovered that Dakota has cancer. After evaluation from a puppy oncologist, it was determined that the cancer was growing too fast for radiation to be effective. It seems that Dakota will have to have a leg amputation in order to get back to his normal healthy self. In addition to the cost of starting nursing school, Kiana has had significant medical bills related to Dakota’s care. From vet visits, oncology appointments, she now has surgery bills ahead along with the follow up appointments. Her friends are setting up this go fund me in order to alleviate some of the financial burden, so she can focus on helping Dakota and her upcoming school!
