I am Kifah from northern Gaza - Jabalia, a mother of 6 children, and a wife whose husband died while performing his duty as a nurse in this war. I am writing to you with a heavy heart and asking for your urgent help, to save me and my children from this genocide and to preserve and rebuild our lives, and for your generous support. During this difficult time and the unprecedented situation we are living in.

My suffering began with my children and I when we displaced from our home when the attack began on October 7, under the continuous bombing and random destruction of homes that killed many civilians, to my parents’ home in Rafah, and my husband remained working as a nurse in “Al-Oyoun Hospital - in the Al-Nasr area,” until... The hospital was bombed and he and his colleagues were killed while they were working to rescue and treat the injured, This caused a disturbance in our children’s psyche and made them deeply saddened by the loss of their father, We do not know how we will continue our lives without him.

During the continuation of this war on Gaza, our house in Jabalia was bombed. It was severely damaged, and large parts of it were destroyed. All our dreams and memories with my husband and his children were lost, and its walls, which contained our happiness and we used to enjoy peace inside one day, were burned.

NOW we became displaced and homeless on the streets, without shelter, Then we were displaced to Al-Zawaida, my children and I, when the military operation began in Rafah, and now we live in miserable conditions in a tent in the street. The war not only deprived us of our home, my husband, and our lives, but also destroyed the education and decent living of my young children and deprived them of... Their most basic rights to live, education, and the life they deserve, and the daily suffering for survival is exacerbated by the lack of basic necessities for us, such as clean water, healthy food, an environment free of diseases, treatments, and medicines.

My primary goal now is to ensure the safety and security of my children by rebuilding our home that was destroyed or removing them from Gaza as quickly as possible until this war ends, and this campaign is the way to do that in preserving the lives of me and my children. In both options, it aims to collect the necessary funds to cover expenses. This money includes expensive border crossing fees, transportation arrangements to a safe location, and basic provisions to support us during the dangerous journey that lies ahead.
