Kim Sherman's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, Friends!

Our dear friend, Kim Sherman, recently received the impossible news that she is battling metastatic colon cancer. Kim is a fighter and is facing this head-on with bravery, courage, and hope. She and her medical team are going after this aggressively, and we are all praying that her body responds favorably to treatment so that Kim's strength can be restored and she can get back to doing all the things she loves.

Anyone who knows Kim knows that she is the most selfless individual. She would literally give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. Her positive spirit, her faith, her deep love for her family, her generosity, and her vibrant personality are a few of the many things that we all love and admire. Kim is not one to ever ask for help, but our friend needs us to step up and show our love and support. Here is how you can help:

#1) Keep Kim and her entire family in your thoughts and prayers. Pray for strength, fortitude, and patience for the challenging days ahead for Brian, Kim, Tyler and Madi.

#2) While the primary cancer is in the colon, the tumor in her liver is causing more grief, discomfort and challenge at the moment. Send all the positive vibes and prayers that Kim's liver responds favorably to treatment. Pray for her medical team to have the wisdom and foresight to make the right decisions on her behalf that will lead to healing and restoration.

#3) Continue to share words of encouragement and love with Kim and her family through texts, social media posts, responses to the Caring Bridge updates, cards, etc.
