Kimberly Choma was involved in a serious roll over car accident around midnight August 12. It was at least 6 hours after her accident before emergency services received the call and she was taken to SV Health where she was then airlifted to EIRMC. Kimberly first underwent an exploratory abdominal surgery where they found a laceration on her liver. She later underwent extensive surgery to repair her jaw which was badly broken. After spending several days in ICU, on Monday, August 19, Kimberly was released from the hospital to continue her recovery at home.

If you’ve ever experienced a tragedy like this, you understand the mental and emotional strain and stress it puts on each member of the family. You understand the feelings of deep gratitude of knowing your loved one will recover along with feeling the heaviness of the financial burdens that comes with it.
