We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of our loved one, Kimberly Joanna Friedley. Kimberly had been battling stage 4 colon cancer for a year and a half. She had been on three different types of chemotherapy, but none of them were working. A new treatment caused her to have a blood clot in her leg, and she went into the ER to get it looked at. The doctor came back and said it was a blood clot but didn’t wait for her full report and prescribed her something to take at home and sent her home. On Wednesday around 4pm after going to the doctors, she went into Albertsons to get her medication. Kimberly then collapsed in the parking lot, having a heart attack. The paramedics performed CPR for 30 minutes, but there was nothing they could do.

Kimberly Friedley had no life insurance, was forced to move her job from full time to part time to be able to qualify for regular insurance to cover her chemo, only making $14 an hour and her checks were based off commission.

Kimberly Joann Friedley, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday 9th, 2024 after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. She was 59 years old.

Kimberly was the cherished mother of Cody Friedley and Savanah Friedley, tiarra Ferguson and the devoted grandmother to Arlett Dominguez and Avery Friedley, whom she loved very much. Her family was the center of her world, and she showed her love through her unwavering support and affection.

Born on January 26, 1965 in Seattle, Kimberly was known for her heartwarming smile and her kind, generous spirit. She was a hard worker who always put others before herself, often giving her last dollar to someone in need. Her selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many.

Kimberly's dedication to her family and her incredible strength during her battle with cancer were truly inspiring. Her love for her children and grandchildren was evident in everything she did, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Cody Friedley and Savanah Friedley; her grandchildren, Arlett Dominguez and Avery Friedley; and many friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
Though she may no longer be with us, Kimberly's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
