Support Kim's Battle Against Ovarian Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

 My name is Kim, and I am reaching out with a hopeful heart and a sincere request for support during one of the most challenging periods of my life. For the past eight years, I have been fighting a relentless battle—not just against a previous addiction that I have managed to overcome, but also for the chance to rebuild and transform my future. Thanks to your incredible support, I have made significant strides in my recovery and have even built a fulfilling career in management, something I once thought was out of reach.  

However, I now face a new and daunting challenge that I cannot overcome alone. In 2020, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After a rigorous treatment regimen, I was hopeful and nearly in remission, feeling grateful for the second chance I had been given. Unfortunately, in early 2024, the cancer returned, and I was devastated. The fight I believed was behind me has reemerged with renewed intensity, and I find myself in need of help once again.

As I prepare for this new round of treatment, I am confronted with the harsh reality of being unable to work. State disability benefits can take up to a year to process, leaving me in a precarious financial situation. I have ongoing bills, rent, and other expenses that need to be managed while I focus on my health.

I am reaching out with the hope that your kindness and generosity can help bridge this gap. Any contribution, no matter how small, would provide me with much-needed relief and allow me to concentrate on my recovery without the added stress of financial uncertainty. Your support will give me the space to heal, continue my journey of sobriety, and maintain the progress I’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Life has presented me with numerous challenges, but I remain determined to persevere—not just for myself, but for all who have believed in me and supported me throughout this journey. I am committed to using my experience to inspire others who face similar struggles with addiction, health issues, or life’s obstacles.
