Hey everyone! We are raising funds for our upcoming short film mystery, "Kindred Spirit" - an official creative production of Archer Moon.

The film tells the story of an 18-year-old girl named Dakota Ryan. It's been two years since her best friend, Lila Cruz, went missing in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Despite many assuming that Lila is dead, Dakota still believes her friend is out there. She later discovers the mysterious "Kindred Spirit" mailbox in Sunset Beach. After uncovering dark secrets, Dakota realizes there may be more to Lila's disappearance.

We began conceptualizing this short last year, wanting to tell a unique story while also highlighting a hidden gem in the beautiful state of NC. As two performers who have had their talents nurtured in the Tar Heel State since their adolescence, we were eager to make the location an important part of the story. This project draws inspiration from teen coast dramas such as Outer Banks, Blue Water High, Hot Summer Nights, etc.

We are thrilled to start filming at the end of July. Our estimated release is November 2024. To ensure a successful and seamless production process, we need funding for an Airbnb, film equipment, travel, food, and post-production costs.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will receive a credit title in our film and a personal thank you message! All who donate will be acknowledged as “Patrons” during the end credits, and those who contribute $500 or more will receive an official “Executive Producer” credit shown during the end credits as well as on promotional artwork.
