Support Kip's Journey & Recovery from Double-Lung Transplant
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and Kind Supporters,
I am reaching out today to ask for your help on behalf of our funny, kind, smiling, brother, cousin, friend, Kip Ray. Recently, Kip received the devastating news that he will need to have a double-lung transplant. He was unexpectedly hospitalized and diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. The disease has caused severe lung scarring and pulmonary hypertension. This has been a debilitating effect of having rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease.
This life-altering procedure is only the beginning of an extremely long and very expensive road to recovery that will involve extensive inpatient stays and outpatient rehabilitation, medical treatments, and round-the-clock care for a minimum of 9-12 months.
Anyone who knows Kip knows how loving, funny, outgoing, and truly caring he is. He is an outdoorsman that loves to hunt, fish, and be with his friends and family. He has a very strong faith and is active in his church. The cost of surgery and subsequent care is overwhelming. Between the current and future hospital bills, therapy sessions, recovery expenses, and multiple round-the-clock caregivers, the financial burden on Kip and his family is immense. We want to ensure that Kip can focus on healing without the added stress of mounting medical expenses.
Kip has always been a fighter, facing challenges with resilience and optimism. As he prepares for this next chapter in his life, we will stand by his side and support him in any way we can. Will you join? We need your help!
We are asking for your generosity to help raise funds to cover Kip's medical expenses and support his recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping Kip regain his health and independence and ease the financial strain on his family.
He is young and deserve to have a long and healthy life surrounded by his friends and family.
We appreciate your support. In addition to any monetary gift, we also kindly ask that you keep Kip in your prayers and share this campaign with others to help spread the word. Your support - whether through a donation or simply sharing Kip's story - means the world to us and most importantly to Kip.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity during this challenging time.
God bless,
Allison and an army of friends and family rallying around Kip, Shea and their family at this time.
