Kishan is a beloved young man cherished by family, friends, and community members alike. He is known for his drive and dedication, often putting in 12-14 hour days at his family's business. Kishan's compassion and willingness to help others have touched countless lives.

On May 17th, while heading home from work, Kishan was stopped at a red light when an unprovoked driver fired four shots into his truck. Tragically, one of the bullets struck him in the back of the head, causing him to drive into oncoming traffic and suffer a cardiac arrest, resulting in an anoxic brain injury and a broken vertebra at the C1-C2 level. The shooter, an off-duty NYPD officer who was intoxicated, has since been apprehended. This act of violence has shattered Kishan's life and brought immense pain and heartache to his family and friends.

Miraculously, Kishan survived, but he has not responded since the incident. Our goal is to provide him with the best possible chance at recovery, despite the challenging odds. Kishan is a fighter who deserves the highest quality care from his medical team. He deserves a chance at life, to continue inspiring others, and to spread love and hope.
