Support Kk Lonergan's Fair Shot for Soccer Camps

Hi. I'm Kk Lonergan. I'm a high school senior and competitive soccer player.

This project is something I came up with after attending a number of soccer college ID camps this summer. These camps are extremely important to attend if you want to play soccer in college. Registration, travel and food costs add up and after talking with teammates about how expensive it is, I decided to try to do something about it.

My short term goal is to have an essay contest and have 10 winners . They will each be awarded $200 to put towards a camp registration. I did a random sampling of current soccer ID camps in California and the average cost is: $185. That's typically for one college.

I'm hoping this will be successful and I can grow this and get help from local sports teams and businesses. I'd like to do the essay scholarships two times a year.
