Support Klaus' Recovery: Aid Jess and Ian
Donation protected
Klaus is a beautiful, amazing rescue pup. He loves people, hikes, and his squeaky toys.
Klaus suffered a life-threatening emergency and was rushed to the vets with what was determined to be an intestinal blockage (which turned out to be a squeaker from one of his beloved toys) and needed surgery immediately. During the operation, the vet discovered a tumor that was about to rupture on his liver and was able to remove it. Had this tumor not been found by the emergency intestinal surgery, Klaus would not have made it.
Fortunately, Klaus is now back to his lovable, mischievous self, although it's still scary how close we came to losing this sweet boy.
But now his grateful mom and dad have an astronomical vet bill. Anything we can do to help Jess and Ian cover the costs of Klaus' care would be deeply appreciated, not only by them and Klaus (and Augie, Klaus' partner in crime!), but also by all of us who adore these wonderful people and this sweet fur baby.
There is also a fundraiser at Concentric Brewing in Portland, CT at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024. Come join the fun at this great brewery with food and beverages, many fabulous prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and some really terrific people! Klaus might even make an appearance....
Thanks to all who offer donations or well-wishes, or join us for a fun Friday night!
