Early hours of Oct 31st my beautiful boy Kordell, succumbed to a severe asthma attack and transitioned at 3:31 am.
To my son Kordell James Hutchins, I can't help but feel the warmth of your presence and the undeniable love we all shared for him.
Kordell was just 7 years old, but those years were filled with so much joy, laughter, and spirited adventures that it's hard to comprehend how one little boy could bring so much energy into this world.
Born on December 22, 2016, Kordell was an early Christmas gift to us all, arriving just in time to light up our lives during the most wonderful time of the year. From the moment he opened his curious eyes, it was clear he would leave an indelible mark on our hearts. Kordell was not only a skilled mathematician and avid Roblox gamer but also our class comedian who had a knack for making us chuckle with his "Nunya" jokes. He was a little whirlwind of wit and wisdom, a Chipotle enthusiast with a love for tacos that was tough to match.
Of course, one cannot reminisce about Kordell without mentioning his enduring love for pizza—particularly creating his own dizzying combinations of toppings and saucing methods that only he could pull together.
We might wonder what we will miss most about our Kordell. I have to say, for me, it’s his enormous personality that filled every room and his unwavering kindness. He had a way of showing love to his siblings and our family that none can replicate, except in fond memories and the warmth he left us with.
We are forever grateful for the short but meaningful time we were gifted with Kordell. He was a ray of sunshine, a ball of energy, and the sweetest, most rambunctious little soul. I find solace in knowing that he touched so many lives, left his mark of kindness, and spread laughter everywhere he went. Our hearts will always echo with the warmth of his presence.
Kordell, my beautiful boy, we'll keep your laughter alive, carry your love forward, and hold your spirit high. You might have left this world, but you'll never leave our hearts. Until we meet again, watch over us, little one. We love you forever and always.
