Support Kris & Family After Devastating Fire

Imagine losing it all, in the snap of a finger?

That's what happened Sunday nite (Feb 9) in South Wallingford, VT to Kris Montgomery Pederson and wife April and their three children.

Gone. Their beloved farmhouse --- embraced as a retreat from the too-busy & too-fast pace of Eastern Mass --- lit up in flames and destroyed before the local fire crews even arrived.

Gone. The sanctuary disappears..

All gone: not just the structure (which has some level of insurance, thankfully) but also a beloved dog and three cats, every possession save the clothes on their backs, the physical elements of his musical livelihood, family artifacts, furniture.. all of it.

Well, almost all of it: the family was barely able to get out the door and into the cold while Kris was somehow able to rescue the horse.

So this is where the re-boot must begin.

Along with meetups with the adjusters, trips to WalMart for buying the basics, securing a roof to survive under, figuring out how to fulfill live music bookings without even the benefit of a guitar and amp. Not to mention, trying to wrap heads around What Just Happened?

This initiative is to ease a portion of that REBOOT.

Our first inclination was to encourage people to help by any musician's preferred means of relief: buying his music. But all those CD's are destroyed, too.
