Support Kris and Katrina rebuild after the Flood

A week ago today, Friday 19th March, my twin brother Kris and his fiancée Katrina were evacuated by the SES from their home in Dunbogan, near Laurieton on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

They just got out with an overnight bag and their dog Mac, in his Landcruiser.

“We just parked at the end of the street and watched the water eat the whole house in 20 minutes”.

The next morning Kris got a lift on a jet ski to the house, he had to swim into the lounge room, the water was chest deep.

Everything they owned was destroyed.

As they were renting they are now homeless and living in his car.

Kris and Kat had just settled in Dunbogan and bought all new furniture and house possessions in the last 6 months.

After a very tough year, due to covid and illness, Dunbogan was where they had just begun to feel settled and able to plan their future.
