Support for Krista and Celeste in their time of Grief

With hearts heavier than words can express, we are reaching out to ask for your prayers and support for the devastating, senseless tragedy that has occurred.

On October 15th, baby Cecilia at just a month old, suffered traumatic injuries inflicted from the senseless act, Shaken Baby Syndrome. Cecilia was life flighted to Danville and was placed on life support. Despite all efforts to save her, it is with deep sorrow that Cecilia’s injuries are just too severe to survive. What every parent fears most has become Krista’s unimaginable reality. Krista is facing what no mother should ever have to.. The heartbreak of saying goodbye to her baby girl.

Although short, Cecilia’s sweet, gentle spirit has touched the hearts of many, especially her big sister Celeste, who has cherished every moment of being a big sister. Watching them together has been one of Krista’s greatest joys, and it is painful beyond words to see that bond cut short.

Krista is a hard working, devoted and loving mother. Her daughters are her world, making sure they are cared for, supported and deeply loved.
