Support the Memorial Fund for Krista Fraser's Children

It is with great sadness that I am sharing the news of Krista Fraser's passing. Krista lost her battle with breast cancer on Saturday, July 20th, surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her wonderful husband John, her daughters Kyeasia, Sienna (16), and her son Kairo (9) as well as her step-daughter Jazmine. She is survived by both of her parents, her siblings and many extended family members.

My name is Natasha Vaz, and I have been a friend and colleague of Krista Fraser for the last 7 years. During this time, we worked together in the Division of Rheumatology, at The Ottawa Hospital, however she served her community for many years prior to that within the medical community. She loved helping people and she brought light into every room she entered.

With the permission of Krista's family, I am raising funds to help support her children who must go on and navigate their future without their loving mother.

Your generous support will go towards supporting their present and future needs, including their sports, extracurricular activities and educational needs. Krista was very actively involved in her kid's lives and encouraged them to achieve all of their dreams and this gift will help keep her will alive.
