Support Kristie Hadley through Chemotherapy and Recovery

If you know Kristie Hadley, you know she is a selfless, hard-working emergency room doctor who always puts others first. If you need something, she will be there for you, no questions asked. When I found out I needed an emergency induction for the birth of my son, she was on the next train to Boston and stayed with me in the hospital, advocated for me with doctors, went back to my house and did my laundry and made sure the dog was in good hands. I think everyone who knows her has a story like this and probably more than one.

Many of you know that Kristie was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent surgery on May 16; she will be starting chemotherapy shortly. Kristie works as a per diem Emergency Medicine attending in NYC as well as on a Native Reservation in Arizona and needs to take time off to recover and take care of her health, which means that she will not be making any money and will need our help.
