Support Kristina Milne DaVia's Family After Fire Loss
Donation protected
Our dear friend and colleague, Kristina Milne DaVia, a dedicated special education teacher for Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District, along with her family, have lost everything in the devastating Palisades Fire. In a matter of hours, both their family homes—both designed by her 89-year-old father—were reduced to ashes. Despite the heartbreak, they're grateful to be safe and together.
The family's harrowing escape included:
- A frantic rush to evacuate her elderly father
- Separation from her husband, Carlo, who was teaching at UC Riverside
- Multiple relocations as the fire spread
- Loss of irreplaceable items like engagement rings and baby books
While they've received an outpouring of support from friends and colleagues, the road to recovery will be long and challenging. They need our help to:
1. Replace essential items for daily living
2. Obtain new important documents (birth certificates, etc.)
3. Support their children's needs during this transition
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping this family rebuild their lives. If you're able to contribute, please consider donating to this fund.
Let's come together to support this resilient family and show them they're not alone in this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Warmly,
April Rosales and Jenny Hirsch
