Support Kristina's Battle Against Cancer

Lt. Kristina Hall (Gilbert), a dear friend and amazing wife to my best friend Lt. Evan Hall, has just been handed a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer —that has already spread and taken over fifty percent of her liver. Kristina is the daughter of Lt. Billy Gilbert (retired), NBBX and PO Karen Gilbert (retired), PBBX. Unlike many others who experience symptoms, or some kind of warning—Kristina’s cancer was found during a routine medical appointment which was unrelated to the cancer. In cancers often cruel fashion, Kristina having no symptoms is what led to it being discovered in an advanced stage—leaving her with limited treatment options. Cancer is known as the disease that brings out even the most meek-persons bravery, but Kristina has already proven her bravery for the last 20 years as a Lieutenant for the New York City Police Department —serving in the Patrol Services Bureau, Transit Bureau and Information Technology Bureau. With staggering amounts of appointments, specialized drugs, treatments and a parade of specialists—Kristina and her family are, and will continue to face an insurmountable amount of medical bills. Certain things in life require more than only one person can give. I ask you humbly, to help Kristina and her family.
