Support KT and Kanga's Emergency Vet Care

Hi Friends! I’m raising some much-needed funds for KT Holland and her day one bestie, KANGA!

If you know KT, you know Kanga. You know she’s the center of KT’s universe and the sweetest, tiniest girl in the world.

Here’s the DL:

On Saturday (11/16) afternoon, KT noticed Kanga wasn’t acting herself. After some time and further close observation, she noticed Kanga’s breathing was very labored, she could not control her salivation, and she was becoming uncharacteristically withdrawn, hiding in corners and under the couch. With these distressing red flags, KT jumped into action and got Kanga to the emergency vet immediately.

After X-rays and a veterinary evaluation, Kanga was diagnosed as experiencing heart failure. The recommended course of action was a Lasix treatment to drain the fluid from her heart and lungs. Without hesitation, she chose to move forward with the procedure.

As it stands, this was the correct course of action. I’m happy to report that as of this morning (11/17), Kanga is recovering well and is already showing signs of returning to her affectionate self.

As many pet owners understand, emergency veterinary care comes at a premium cost. And while no one should have to choose between their financial security and their best friend, it is the simple truth.

KT is a rock in our local community, a loyal friend, and one of the most generous, altruistic people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. I’m hoping her support system can come together to show her the extra love she selflessly gives each of us. Any little bit can help.

While Kanga is in her healing stages, I will continue to update here, but I anticipate a fast recovery!
