Support Kurt Spradlin After Candy's Passing

Hi, I’m Jamie Lynn Bryant. My sister, Laura Rabbe, brother, Christopher Spradlin, and I have decided to create a go fund me for our father, Kurt Spradlin. Kurt and Candy Spradlin are our parents. As many of you know, my mother was batting cancer for 9 years. She passed away on Oct 16, 2024. Due to the cost of medical bills and funeral arrangements, I’d like to kindly ask for donations to assist my father during this difficult time. Candace Sue Spradlin (Candy) met her Lord and Savior on October 16th, 2024. After a 9 year fight against colon cancer, she passed in the comforts of her home surrounded by family. She never gave up during her journey. She completed every treatment, procedure, and surgery to overcome the cancer. She was well known for her strength and courage during this time of her life.

Candy was born in Tacoma, Washington on April 5th, 1964. Candy was known for her smile, love for Alabama football, passion for crafting, spending time with friends and family, photography, evening walks on the beach, and sense of adventure.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 43 years, Kurtis Lee Spradlin; her son Christopher Spradlin (Emily), Laura Rabbe (Jacob), Jamie Lynn Bryant (Jamie), her brother Jeff Coning, nephews Darryl Hart and Jay Coning, aunt and uncle Tony and Karen Papouschek, two wonderful grandsons Matthew and Luke Rabbe, and beautiful granddaughters Kaitlin and Jenna Bryant and Shiloh Degood, along with many cousins and special friends, Curtis and Michelle Nelson, Tom and Gail Manuel. Candy is proceeded in death by her parents Berlin Coning and Sandra Murphy Coning, Grandmother Laura Murphy, sisters-in-law Rebecca Hart and Penny Coning

There will be a celebration of life for the family at a later date.
