Support Kyle Foust in his recovery!

This GoFundMe is set up in place for Kyle Foust and his family from his work group at Talen. Due to traveling, medical needs, and being out of work, we want to help Kyle and his family in this time. We hope you continue to have a fast recovery and wish you the best and safe travels!

On June 28th Kyle was on vacation visiting his girlfriend in Pittsburgh when the outside patio roof that they were sitting under collapsed, throwing his girlfriend to the ground but fully crushing Kyle. He suffered 7 broken ribs, and his lower thoracic spine was broken in a burst fracture as well. He underwent emergency surgery at Forbes outside of Pittsburgh getting a T9-L2 vertebrae spinal fusion. 

As of right now, he is functionally paralyzed from the waist down, and has very little movement in his thighs, hips and feet. However, there is a decent chance he will walk again. This process can take 2-3 years to regain what is available for him, but he continues to make improvements every week.
