Support Kyler Wright's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On November 10, 2024, our world lost a ray of light. Kyler (Bishop) Wright (pictured above on the right), a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew died suddenly in a motorcycle accident in Sarasota, FL.
Kyler is survived by his mother, Brittany Wright and younger brother, Luke Wright, his grandparents Danielle and Sandy Wright, his aunt Heather Wright Ford, uncle Brian Ford, his cousin Isabella Grace Ford, his uncle Shaun and aunt Danielle Wright. In addition to his immediate family, he left behind a large extended family of great aunts and uncles and cousins.
Kyler had been a senior and previously attended Ridgeview High School in Sarasota, FL and Worthington Christian in Worthington, OH. He was on the cusp of launching into his next chapter of life. His mother Brittany taught him how to love life and live it to its fullest. She loved ‘KyKy’ immensely and cherished 18 years with the beautiful life Kyler led. He had a passion for adventure, enjoyed snowboarding, spending time outdoors, target shooting, and loved time with family and friends. He hid a very deep heart beneath his wild locks.
His brother, Luke (14), had been his shadow throughout their childhood, until he surpassed him in height during the middle school years (which Kyler loathed!). He was always attentive to the person Luke would become, and found ways to lead and care for him. One of his joys in life was his cousin, Isabella Grace Ford (5), with whom he shared crazy antics and endless laughter.
Kyler was raised in Worthington, OH, and spent a lot of his time away from school on his Miny and Pop-pop's farm. Grandparents Sandy and Danielle Wright viewed him more like their own son than a grandson. His aunt Heather invested heavily in earning his love, even to the point of buying him a kitten as a bribe. When she married her husband, Brian Ford, Kyler was front and center in the wedding celebration, and overjoyed when they all welcomed Isabella to their family clan. Uncle Shaun enjoyed teaching him how to break the rules, and the best routes for running the gator across farm property.
In lieu of flowers, donations will go to supporting My Sister’s Place, a domestic violence shelter in Marshall, NC & to his brother Luke’s educational fund. These funds will be distributed by his aunt Heather.
A celebration of Kyler's life will take place at a later date.
