As you and fellow members of the neighborhood may have observed, the former Fien coffee shop unexpectedly ceased its operations at the end of June. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the owners have jointly made the difficult decision to conclude this chapter. Our affection for Fien runs deep, and the overwhelming support from the community has been truly appreciated. Serving you all has been an immense joy.

This begins the next chapter of my journey.

I'm beyond excited to share that I've been presented with the opportunity to reopen the beloved coffee shop, this time proudly under my own name.

As a native Latina New Yorker, diving into this new chapter of my journey as a coffee shop owner fills me with both joy and fear

But here's the thing – my dedication to this community runs deep. Whether it's serving up a comforting cup of coffee or fostering a vibrant hub for artists to come together and share their creativity, my commitment to uplifting this community remains unwavering.

I am raising funds to pay off:

New equipment: an ice machine, dishwasher and a fridge gasket repair

Essential renovations that the landlord has neglected to take care of

Liability and legal fees starting at a minimum of 3,000 due to the sudden closure of the previous shop

A rolling gate for safety precaution

Renovations such as: changing the layout of the shop for a seamless customer experience

Payments to pay off the espresso machine from the previous owner
