Support Laasya 2025: Celebrate Classical Dance

We would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to consider donating to Laasya 2025. Founded by Boston University and MIT in 2010, Laasya has traveled far and wide, being hosted by various universities throughout the country. This year, Natya at Berkeley is honored to host the most prestigious collegiate Classical Dance competition and exhibition in the San Francisco Bay Area on February 15th at McKenna Theater. Eight selected teams from across the nation will perform pieces they have choreographed and worked on for the past year, competing for a placement in the Origins National Championship.

By providing a platform for classical teams to showcase their work, Laasya hopes to inspire a sense of charitable collaboration, challenge mainstream notions of identity, culture, and the arts, and to share a deep appreciation for the Indian Classical Arts with the San Francisco Bay Area community.

As a strictly student-run organization, we hope to have your support in our endeavor to celebrate, share, and sustain the vitality of traditional arts for present and future generations.
