Support Lacy Porter's fight against cancer

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am here asking for support for my friend Lacy Porter.

Unfortunately, Lacy has been diagnosed with head and neck cancer. Lacy had surgery in March and will be traveling to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to receive radiation treatment. She will be there from April 17th- May 5th. That is 3 weeks that Lacy will be away from her family, home, and job. She is hoping she can return to work before school is out for the summer. But that will all depend on how she feels after receiving treatment.

I created this fundraiser to help Lacy and her family cover some of her travel and medical expenses. My hope for Lacy, with your help and generosity, is to show her that she has an army of people supporting her, praying for her, and sending her all the positive thoughts to get her through this journey.

Lacy is a Mother, she should be spending her time taking her daughter Aura to and from school. Cheering her on at her softball games, and being with her family at home. Not hundreds of miles away fighting cancer. Let's show Lacy the support she needs and deserves!
