Support Lailah's Academic Journey in Peru

Hello!

As I hope you know, my name is Lailah Armstrong. I'm currently a junior at the University of Colorado-Boulder (sko Buffs!) where I am pursuing two degrees in both Political Science and International Affairs, with a minor in Spanish. I have a passion for learning, traveling, and expanding my worldview. Recently, I've been accepted into a study-abroad program in Cusco, Peru! I will be studying the language, history, and political relations of Latin America and the United States during my time there. The program lasts for a little over a month, from mid-May to late June, and offers many immersive opportunities, including excursions to sites like Machu Picchu, dance classes, and more. I'm looking forward to the experience overall, but especially the academic and cultural education it will provide! Peru is filled with a rich history, beautiful traditions, amazing food, and many wonders I will soon discover.

While I have received some scholarships, international travel and time away from work is understandably financially difficult as a college student; so, any help is much appreciated! Any donations will help me cover the cost of international travel, housing, food, and other miscellaneous costs. I look forward to sharing my journey through my social media (where anyone is welcome to follow along,) and sharing my newfound knowledge with anyone willing to listen! Supporting me through this journey, whether financially or just cheering me on, would mean so much, and would be supporting the education and enrichment of a future leader and contributor to (what I hope to be) great things in society!
