We are heartbroken to share the news of LaMya Moffett’s passing on Friday, October 2024. LaMya was a beloved friend, daughter, and recent graduate of Fayetteville State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in the spring of 2023.

Just before Christmas of 2023, LaMya was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and she fought valiantly through treatment, showing the same strength and resilience that defined her life. Sadly, her battle ended far too soon.

LaMya touched many lives with her kind spirit and dedication to helping others. In this difficult time, her family is facing the overwhelming burden of funeral costs, and we are asking for your help to give LaMya the memorial she deserves.
