Support Lana's Fight Against Glioblastoma

Hi, my name is Hannah Leibee, and I am here asking for your support for my mom Lana Boyd-Leibee. On March 26th I received a call from my mom's friends and colleagues because they were concerned about my mom's health. I flew back to Kansas City from my home in Atlanta, and that's when my world fell apart. After a trip to the emergency room in the early morning hours of Tuesday, the 27th, we were told that my mom had a large mass on her brain filled with fluid. On Monday, April 3rd my mom underwent surgery at North Kansas City Hospital for a Glioblastoma Brain Tumor. Her Tumor was 5cm. They were not able to remove it all. We are waiting for the prognosis from her doctors.

For those of you who know my mom, you know how giving and caring she is to her friends, clients, work colleagues, and her family. She is often the first person to respond when she learns of someone in need. And, as a REALTOR in the KC Northland, she has touched the lives of so many people during her 20-year career. So, as you can imagine, as a daughter, it is very hard for me to see HER, as the one in need. But, she is now VERY much in need of your donations, prayers, and support as she fights the battle of her life.

Our need is even greater since my mom does not have health insurance. This situation makes the need for help with medical bills, ongoing medical expenses, treatments, and care even more dire. We are hopeful that she can resume her work in the future, but that will certainly take some time. I humbly ask for your much-appreciated support; it will play a huge part in her recovery.
