Support Lance's Fight Against Medical Debt

Donation protected
I am Lance Gardner's Uncle Jimmy and he needs our help! With my financial guidance Lance has worked extremely hard to become independent and responsible as a young adult. He recently had a string of unfortunate medical incidents that has put him in a situation that has been devastating to his goal of a strong independent future.

A couple weeks ago Lance unexpectedly had a series of seizures that sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. While in the ambulance he had additional seizures. The test results came back inconclusive, and they are still looking for the source that caused these seizures to happen.

Lance had just started a new well-paying job that he loved but because of the timing of these seizures he had not qualified for full medical insurance coverage yet. They also put him on a no driving restriction for 30 days and since he was so new and his job was driving a forklift, he was unable to perform his daily job tasks and his employer was forced to cut ties with him and let him go.

The first medical bill arrived at $2,825.00, then a couple weeks later another bill arrived for $11,038.44! Lance has worked so hard and has always paid his bills on time but to have $13,863.44 in medical bills hit when you are a 20-year-old just starting out can literally turn a bright future into a dark existence full of financial struggles. I don’t want that for him at all! I want him to have a bright and happy future! He is selling anything and everything he can including the dream bike he worked so hard to get, but even that won’t make much of a dent in these medical bills.

I see so many young people throw their financial futures away early for silly things, but Lance has done all the right things. The timing and the situation have been devastating to this young man just starting out on his own. Please share this with family and friends that know and love Lance.

I want to give this kid a chance!
