Support Lance's Surgery and Recovery

Donation protected

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. Recently, our family has been faced with an unexpected injury and significant medical expenses that have put a strain on our family’s finances.

My father-in-law Lance was on his roof doing some cleaning/maintenance and slipped and fell, tumbling all the way to the ground. He injured many things, but the biggest injury is that he fractured every bone in his foot and requires many corrective surgeries to prevent him from completely losing his foot. The cost of these treatments, medications, hospital stays, and his lost wages has quickly added up and there is no end to it in the near future. Doctors have estimated he will be down for 4-6 months minimum if everything goes well, which includes surgeries, rehab, time away from work, and many more medical expenses. Because of this sudden and unexpected event, they are struggling to keep up with these mounting bills. These funds will be used to cover medical expenses, and lost wages during this tough time.

I am humbly asking for your support during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter how large or small, would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping cover these unexpected medical expenses.

Your kindness and generosity mean the world to our family and we are forever grateful for your support. Thank you for considering helping us in our time of need.

Gratitude and blessings,

Tate

*Update 09/21/24*
Lance has been to a follow up with his surgeon and they are very optimistic about his first surgery coming up. Feeling optimistic that he will gain full function in his foot again. Keep your prayers and donations coming. You guys are doing the work of angels and we appreciate it so so much!

*UPDATE 11/07/24*
Lance visited his doctor on 10/16 and got stitches removed from the incisions and a hard cast put on his leg. He is currently still not able to bear any weight on the leg, or move without the aid of a cart/crutch. His next check up they will do some x-rays and hopefully start on physical therapy. Then he may be cleared for 25% weight bearing on the leg. Continue to pray and think of the family, if you can, continue to donate. All the love and support is really making this process smoother and we are so blessed and thankful by the outpouring of community that has surrounded us during this time. Thank you all!
