Support Latios' Hemangiosarcoma Treatment & Fair well Tour

I could never fathom that I’d experience two life-altering events that register on the furthest ends of either spectrum just days apart. I had just welcomed my first child into the world and was riding a wave of ecstasy that I had previously begun to abandon hope of experiencing. Unfortunately, that wave was short-lived.
3 days after Novah’s birth (the 18th, which is a day I already dread), I was rushing my best friend's nearly lifeless body to the ER where he would be diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma: a deadly cancer of the blood vessels that tends to grow and spread rapidly, rarely giving the owner any clue their dog is harboring a fatal disease – until it suddenly strikes.
With this diagnosis, I was given two options: proceed with emergency surgery or euthanization.
I hadn’t conceived the notion that my 1st born wouldn’t get to grow up with memories of Latios. All of the photoshoot and trip ideas will now forever live as just a fantasy. I thought I had years to plan a farewell tour before I had to permanently retire Latios as a service dog. I owe the majority of my recovery post-TBI to him alone, as well as him having impacted many others.
I’ve always wanted to take him to explore the wilderness and hike somewhere “far” from KY, but between trying to cover the cost of his surgery, his expensive medications, vet visits, and the drastic increase in price for his new diet due to his diagnosis, if I plan to still make that a reality, I need help!
