Support Laura in Honoring Ken Jones' Memory

Hello to all the current and former Tri Town Brothers and Sisters in Blue

It’s with great sadness that I announce the passing of one of our brothers in blue, Ken Jones. Ken was a full time Dacono Police Officer from February 2005 until November 2012. Ken passed away at home on Saturday November 9th 2024 unexpectedly.

Ken had been dealing with chronic medical conditions these past few years and has had trouble being able to work these past six months. Ken’s wife, Laura, is devastated and I am helping her transition this very difficult time.

Ken and I both stayed very good friends after both of us left Dacono Police Department and I just enjoyed an awesome motorcycle ride with him last month. Ken was a great man, father, grandpa, cop, husband and human. For all that knew and worked with Ken, he always had a good story to tell and was always there to listen to anyone who needed an ear.

Unfortunately, due to Ken’s recent medical issues, Ken and Laura have been struggling financially and the cost of a funeral right now is just overwhelming for Laura. I have started a Go Fund Me to raise money so that this great man can have an honorable send off.

I am purposely not sharing this publicly out of respect of Laura’s wishes. Please contribute if you can as it would mean the world to Ken and his wife.
