The Palisades fire has left a heartbreaking trail of destruction, and our sister, Laura Armstrong, is among those who have lost everything. The charming little 4-plex containing her apartment along with her beloved flower studio near the bluffs, were completely destroyed.

A Personal Message from Laura:

“I was in Arizona caring for my mom who was fighting pneumonia when the fires broke out. Watching the live footage on the news was surreal as I knew my home was in the path of the fire storm. I’m indebted to my friend who grabbed my sweet little cat, Sophie, and my laptop during the evacuations. My heart is broken for my beautiful little town of Pacific Palisades. I’ve been blessed with over 20 years in my little oasis. I have also lost my livelihood as a florist, my work studio behind my house was burned too. And sadly, most of my clients homes have burned as well.

I’m feeling strong and open to what lies ahead. I am beyond touched and grateful for all the love and support shown to me, from family, friends and strangers. Truly the most important thing in life is the treasure of deep love and friendship.”
