Support Laura & the kids - Payton Parra's family

My name is Jennifer Story and I have known Laura Maudsley-Coester for over 20 years. You could call us best friends, but we are more than that... we are sisters. I was so happy when she met the love of her life, Payton Parra, over six years ago. They were perfect for each other and loved one another fiercely. I have watched them build a beautiful life together over the years and unite as a family with their son Rhett and Laura's four older children. Payton was more than a father figure to Makenzee, Caleb, Connor, and Keegan. He loved and supported them as if they were his own. Payton encouraged and supported Laura in pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. He was a calm and gentle soul and was loved by everyone who met him. Payton dedicated his life to serving others as an Engineer, HAZMAT Technician, and Peer Support Team member on Engine 51 for Central Arizona Fire and Medical.

On his 35th birthday, Saturday, July 1st, he died unexpectedly in his sleep leaving behind his life-partner Laura and five children Rhett, Keegan, Connor, Caleb, and Makenzee. They are devastated by this tragic loss and need all of the support we can provide to them.

At this time, Payton's family needs our help. They will need to cover day-to-day expenses such as food, mortgage, and other bills that must be paid. Laura has one semester left of nursing school and will be graduating in December as an RN. Fulfilling this goal is imperative as the family learns to adapt to a life without Payton. Any help that you can provide to Laura and the kids will be appreciated more than you know.
