Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Laura Lucero, originally from Altadena and I am heartbroken to share that on Wednesday, January 8th, both my mom, Pam and my brother, Mark lost their homes in the Eaton Canyon fire in Altadena.

Most importantly, my mom and brother are safe. My mom has lived in her house for almost 45 years and it was my childhood home. My brother bought a house in beautiful Altadena down the street to be close to my mom, and he built a life there with his wife. Sadly, they have both lost everything. They have insurance, which will hopefully function as intended in time, but the immediate needs and relief are truly overwhelming. My mom is also retired and on a fixed-income.

Any support you can offer to my mom and brother (whether it's advice, basic necessities, short or long-term housing options, or other resources) would mean the world during this difficult time. If you feel so compelled, we would sincerely appreciate any and all donations and messages of support.
