Hello, my name is Patrick Glynn. I'd like to introduce you to my wife, Laurel Stanley Glynn. We've been married for 35 years. She is my best friend. Recently, my wife took a fall off a rock ledge and hit her head. Everyone said it was a mild concussion. A week later, my wife suffered a stroke. Noticing some strange behaviors after the stroke, her neurologist sent her to two of the foremost experts on Alzheimer's at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. It was there she was diagnosed with Functional Neurologic Disorder. This is a rare disorder that is a brain-based condition that disrupts the brain's communication pathways, affecting how the brain sends and receives information throughout the whole body. Laurel has taken numerous falls; her last one caused her to break a bone in her shoulder. Normally, we wouldn't ask for help, but Laurel has had to stop working and it is putting a financial strain upon us. Medical bills and other bills are piling up. This is why we are seeking anyone who could help us.
