Support Lauren during her recovery

My name is Christian Schatz, and my wife is Lauren Schatz. Recently, Lauren suffered a stroke that has left her unable to work during her recovery. She has regained most of her movement, though she is significantly weaker and slower on her right side. Her recall and response times are also slower. She is receiving physical and occupational therapy to help her get back to normal.

I'm making this fundraiser to offset Lauren's finances with her being unable to work. The funds would be used to help cover her medical and living expenses, as well as transportation when I cannot provide it myself, since she cannot drive for several months.

Update 1: Thank you to all those who've donated and shared this. We greatly appreciate it. Lauren is recovering well, though she is still out of work. Thanks to these donations we've been able to adjust our groceries for the new diet we need to be on as well as cover bills and her follow-up appointments. 

Update 2: Late Update: Lauren is back at work, and has been for a few weeks now. Things are going great and her recovery is phenomenal. Thank you so much everyone for your donations and well wishes. We greatly appreciate all of you.
