Support Lauren Walker's Recovery from the Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Our dear friend Lauren Walker was displaced this week due to the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles, CA. She evacuated on Tuesday, January 7, in a panic, with only a few items. For several days, she assumed her house had been destroyed, but she was shocked and amazed that her house had survived, despite being incredibly close to the origin of the fire, and most of the surrounding streets suffering terrible damage.

Unfortunately, that joy was short-lived, as the reality of the situation settled in. Lauren's home is completely uninhabitable. It sustained major smoke damage and toxic ash covers everything inside and out. Her neighborhood is without utilities, which could last weeks or months. Her once safe place is now a disaster zone.

She is safe and so grateful for what she has, but she now must figure out so much. Lauren is an amazing artist whose brilliant mind has been a gift to so many of us. Her home was her sanctuary, and she opened her doors over and over again to her friends, whether it was to grill out and talk for hours in her beautiful yard, a Twitch dance party in her living room, or as a place to stay for traveling guests. It's now our turn to open our hearts to Lauren and give back, so that she can start over and move forward.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help build towards Lauren's future. 100% of money raised will be used by Lauren to restart her life, including replace items not covered by insurance.

Much love,
Elise Tyler and Carly Levenshon (Lauren’s friends for a combined 40+ years)
