Brothers Find Hope: Help Lawrence & Male to Stability
Two brothers, Lawrence and Male Thompson, were homeless after a series of heartbreaking losses. With your help, they can finally find stability.
Their Story:
Lawrence and Male lost their mother and then their uncle, leaving them alone and struggling.
They faced homelessness for over five years, living in difficult conditions.
Lawrence has autism and needs specialized support.
Both brothers are illiterate, making it even harder to navigate life's challenges.
A Glimmer of Hope:
A local court recognized their situation and helped them secure crucial documents like ID cards and birth certificates.
Lawrence's autism diagnosis was acknowledged, ensuring he receives the support he needs.
They successfully completed the court program and are off the streets.
The Biggest Hurdle Conquered - Finding a Home:
Securing an apartment has been a challenge due to their lack of credit history and a non-violent criminal record (stealing food due to hunger). But thanks to a compassionate landlord and the amazing people that came together to furnish the apartment, along with the Mayor of Sunrise we have succeeded in securing them a home.
The road to stabilization.
How You Can Help:
With your generous donation, we can help Lawrence and Male:
Basic necessities: Food, clothing, hygiene products.
Ongoing support: Transportation assistance, life skills training, and connection to community resources, etc.
If you know of a place for employment, please message me.

Together, we can make a difference!
Please donate today and help Lawrence and Male build a new life.
