Help Lauren Through Emergency Surgery & Recovery

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my sweet friend, Lauren. She was diagnosed with a genetic condition last year, which led to her needing surgery this past December.

The surgery ended up having complications and caused her to be in the hospital longer than anticipated.

She has been faced with numerous unexpected issues since the surgery and prolonged hospital stay. This has caused her to have been in and out of the hospital since December.

Now, Lauren is facing another major setback. She was originally scheduled for a second surgery later this year, but due to multiple infections—this most recent one being the worst yet—that have caused her to be unable to heal properly, her doctors have decided she can’t wait any longer. She will undergo emergency surgery at the end of this week.

On top of the physical and emotional toll, Lauren will be out of work for at least two months while she recovers. With medical bills piling up from her previous surgery and hospital stay while also having to take time off work during this time, she needs our help.

Even during this tough time, she has tried to keep a smile going for others and have faith.

Our hope is to raise close to $7,000 in order to assist with surgery costs, medical expenses, and everyday living needs while she focuses on healing.
