Laurie and Harper: In Memory of Heath Huffing Awareness

On April 29, 2023, I lost my husband. I saw him fall to the ground, gasping for air, then started turning white. I called EMS, started CPR, but I couldn’t save him. I watched my husband die!! We couldn’t save him!!

A few months prior, my husband Heath attended a 30-day in-treatment program for alcohol, but someone introduced him to dust off, and he was immediately hooked. He totaled two trucks while huffing and passing out at the wheel. He would get home from work at 11 pm and sit in his truck huffing until the sun came up. He wanted to stop drinking so bad he swapped the liquor bottle for a can of air, and it killed him.

My name is Laurie Holmes. In memory of my husband Heath, our daughter Harper and I are starting this GoFundMe to raise more awareness of the dangers of huffing and to hopefully assist in helping people with their addiction. Please support our cause; I think it’s an important one. Thank you.
