I am a state legislator, founder and leader of the Maine Legislature's Progressive Women's and the LGBTQ+ Caucuses, an environmental scientist, and a building energy efficiency and community resilience expert. I'm a single mom and a community activist. I'm on the board of the Maine Jewish Film Festival and A Wider Bridge.

I was elected to be one of 32 Delegates from Maine to the National Democratic Convention in Chicago.

What's at stake in this election cannot be more stark: Will we vote to safeguard our democracy, or will we allow our government to continue to move toward demagoguery and despotism? We must elect Kamala Harris and we must win a Democratic majority in the US House and hold the Senate.

We cannot let Trump succeed. If he is President, he and his cronies will continue to erode reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights. They will turn back the progress on conversion to a clean energy economy and eliminate the Federal efforts to address the impacts of climate change. That can't happen.
