As many of you know, the fire swept through Altadena with unimaginable force and speed. With little time to evacuate, Laurie was unable to save anything, and the fire consumed all of her precious belongings.

For the past 18 years, Laurie’s home has been more than just a house—it has been a sanctuary of love, healing, and community for so many of us. Now, she faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding her life from scratch.
