Support Laurie's Fight and Recovery

Hi friends! My name is Morgan. I’m making this go fund me because most of you might know my friend Laurie Gordon has been very sick and in and out of the hospital/ICU for some time now. She has been dealing with a severe abdominal infection affecting her internal organs, bleeding in stomach, Severe Loss of blood but no external bleeding occurring, Pancreatitis, Gall stones and enlarged gall bladder, Underwent multiple procedures to fix internal issues, Had 4 blood transfusions over the course of her hospital stay. Nearly close to death several times.

Shes been recently released, however she can’t do anything on her own. Laurie is now currently on 11 different medications, requiring multiple blood transfusions and has 7 weeks of physical therapy/occupational therapy to gain strength and mobility back. Laurie is a single mother to her daughter Meghan who is a senior in high school. She currently has zero income. Her cupboards and fridge are empty . They are three months behind on rent and her other bills have gone to collections. And have received an eviction notice. They really don’t want to move from their home. Especially because she is physically incapable of moving at the moment. Laurie is such a beautiful, kind, sweet hearted person and an amazing mother. I hate to see her go through something like this alone. I know she is loved by so many.
