Support Layla's Dream: Help Fund Her SVA Tuition

Hi, my name is Layla, I'm a 19 year old artist born and raised in NYC and I'm fundraising to cover my tuition fees so that I can continue my education and achieve my academic goals at the School of Visual Arts. Getting into SVA was a dream of mine and my first year was already a huge financial burden. My family can't contribute and any job I apply to requires experience I couldn't have possibly achieved fresh out of high school.

I took out a loan and tried to establish a reasonable payment plan for my tuition but the "lowest" amount it could go was $1,956/month, on top of a $100 fee to go through with said payment plan. Overtime, tuition accumulated and by spring semester I was drowning in debt. Now with the fall semester quickly approaching and the spring semester still unpaid, I can't register for classes until I pay the full amount.

With no money to afford supplies for my classes and hardly any financial aid, I am scared I won't be able to pursue my passion and build my career.
