Support L.E.A.D. Youth Basketball League

The L.E.A.D. Basketball League is a free youth basketball league for children ages 10-14 from Schenectady, Troy, and Albany School Districts. The league consists of six teams of 6-10 players with a regular season and postseason. The league will run for approximately six weeks beginning in July 2025 and ending in August 2025.

The mission of the league is to provide a safe and competitive league for those who are not able to afford playing in organized basketball. Players will be assisted by staff coaches, who will also serve as mentors, and be provided professional photos, uniforms, awards, and statistics.

We are currently seeking funding to provide necessary basketball equipment, merchandise, uniforms, referees, and fees associated with making the league possible.

Through our recreational sports leagues, exercise programs, and clinics, children's lives are changed in many ways. Not only are they physically active and improving their health, but they have the opportunity to build relationships and confidence in a safe environment which fosters their development as a whole.
